Ministry Moment with Michelle: Hold On? Let It Go? Move On?
Why is it so hard for us as humans to just let 'stuff' go? Why do we keep holding on to 'stuff', egos, things, and people who no longer serve us?
Could be our past, careers, relationships, grief, habits...people...'stuff'
It may be time to just say "Goodbye"!
Yesterday, I mentioned that "growth & maturity" happens sometimes when you're "down in the valley".
Similar things can happen when you STOP, END, CLOSE THE DOOR (forever), and MOVE ON!... growth, maturity, new blessings, AND realization of who's really in control of your life, and what plan He has next for you.
It ain't easy! It may be painful. There may be challenges & obstacles to overcome, but nothing was meant to last forever, but eternal life! Let It Go!
Forge ahead and ponder Philippians 3:1-14-Paul says, "Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."
Yes, Jesus Christ is the way to eternal life! Don't block your blessings! You can come over when you overcome! Let It Go!
